USAGE

ZN-2 is used as a cling agent in making stretch wrap films from LLDPE, LDPE such as palletwrap, silagewrap and foodwrap films. It can be used on either blown film or cast film process. Polymers used with ZN-2 masterbatch must not contain any Anti blocking additive, slip agent as this will prevent the migration of cling additive. Migration time for good cling properties is usually 24 to 72 hours.

RECOMMENDED ADDITION

On monolayer blown film lines, 6 to 8% ZN-2 by weight should be added to resin mix.

On monolayer Cast lines, 3 to 5 % ZN-2.

On multiple-layer film lines, ZN-2 is usually added to the skin layers only. Addition level depends on which layer is used and the thickness of layer.
